Although I am sure this is not the graduation you expected, you still get to celebrate an amazing accomplishment in whatever way you can. On behalf of the class of 2015, I’d like to tell you that we’ll make it up to you at your 5-year reunion (our 10th). Someone just please remind me in about 4.5 years so that I can remind the planning committee.

Now, go on, celebrate in whatever way you can. Go blue!
Eric Caugh, Class of ‘96

Congratulations to my fellow alumni! My heart is bursting with pride for your achievements as well as sadness that we cannot properly celebrate you today. You are an amazing collection of individuals and nothing, not even a global pandemic, can diminish all you’ve accomplished. Go Blue!

Congrats to my LLM and 3L friends! Best wishes for the future and I hope we can keep in touch.

Thank you to the Class of 2020! You were the folks running the law school in my first days and you were the ones who showed me the many ways to be a law student. She taught me how to get through and how to get what I wanted needed from this experience.

A special shout out to the women of color in Prof. Halberstam's Con Law class. On my first day of preview weekend, I was a plucky 0L visiting your class and I will never forget it. You showed me that being unapologetic about what you believe in is possible and needed in this profession. Congratulations, thank you all, and please stay fantastic!

Your friendly neighborhood,

Continue to give the best of yourselves in your future goals and may you always fight for justice with courage, strength, integrity and conviction!

Congratulations and good luck!
